Nov 24 - Bassadone Donates Motorcycle To Raffle At Convent Christmas Fair

Bassadone Motors are once again supporting the Convent Christmas Fair by donating a Honda MSX 125 cc motorcycle to be raffled at the event on Thursday 26th November.

Receiving the keys from Chris Moreno at The Convent this morning, Her Excellency The Governor, Alison MacMillan, said: “I am delighted that Bassadone Motors are once again so generously supporting the Convent Christmas Fair by donating such a splendid motorcycle.

"Funds raised through the Convent Christmas Fair will this year support a number of different children’s charities in Gibraltar including The Saffron Rose 4 Rett Charitable Trust, Down’s Syndrome Support Group Gibraltar, Autism Support Gibraltar, and Pathway Through Pain.

"Through such generosity, we aim to improve the lives of these children and provide them with additional opportunities.”

Also pictured is Suzy Kirkby, Chairperson of the Convent Christmas Fair Committee, who is busy preparing for Thursday's Convent Christmas Fair starting from 12pm to 7pm, with entry tickets priced at £2 and children go for free.

Entertainment during the day includes a Santa’s Grotto from 2pm, the Loreto Convent Choir singing at 6pm, mulled wine and refreshments, as well as a variety of stalls selling Christmas gift ideas.
