Oct 06 - Romanian Wallet Thieves Jailed
Two pick-pockets working together who stole three wallets containing more than £200 in cash and various cards were sentenced to three months in prison each.
Maria Prusianu and Nelu Primaru, Romanian nationals who are resident in Spain, targeted three women on different occasions in Main Street last week.
They were arrested on Thursday and charged with three counts of theft each.
Both defendants appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday and were sentenced to one month in prison for each count, to be served consecutively.
