Feb 03 - Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Drugs And Firearms Related Charges

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession and possession with intent to supply approximately 600grms of cannabis resin and possession of firearms.

The arrest follows the execution of a search warrant by RGP Drugs Squad officers at a flat in Main Street yesterday afternoon, where the said quantity of drugs, drugs paraphernalia and two battery operated BB guns (commonly known as ‘Airsoft guns’) resembling authentic assault rifles - Prohibited Weapons under the Firearms Act - were seized.

The man is currently on Police bail pending further enquiries.

The street value of the drugs seized is of approximately £3000.00
