Feb 03 - Man Charged With Pizzeria Burglary

A Spanish national resident in Gibraltar was charged with one count of burglary after he allegedly stole food, power tools and a CCTV camera from Pizzeria Plaza in Market Place in the early hours this morning. 

The Royal Gibraltar Police were alerted to a report of burglary at the premises of Pizzeria Plaza at Market Place, where several power tools, food items  and an external CCTV camera were stolen, a Criminal Investigation Department investigation resulted in the arrest of 33 year old Spanish national Marco Antoñio BENAVENTE SANCHEZ, of Flat Bastion Road, on suspicion of Burglary.

He was later charged with one count of Burglary and detained in Police custody, pending his appearance before the MagistratesCourt at 1000hrs Wednesday 3rd February 2016.
