    The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).

Feb 05 - £45K Of Cannabis Seized – Two Local Men Arrested

An operation conducted by RGP Drugs Squad officers this morning has resulted in the arrest of two local men (aged 28 and 30).

The 28 year old has been arrested on suspicion of Possession and Possession with Intent to Supply cannabis resin weighing approximately 9kgs.

The 30 year old has been arrested for obstructing police. 

The drugs seized have a street value of approximately £45,000.

Both persons remain in Police custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
