Apr 22 - Trial Date Set In Supreme Court Cocaine Case

The trial has been set for two individuals accused of possession and possession with intent to supply 7.02grams of cocaine.

Andres Ferrell and Ylenia Gomez have both pleaded not guilty to the two charges after allegedly being caught with the Class A drugs in March last year.

Gomez, represented by John Restano QC and Darren Martinez, pleaded guilty to a further two charges – one of possession of 0.57grams of cannabis resin and one relating to the possession of diazepam tablets.

Bail conditions are to continue and the trial has been set for Monday 12th September.
