Jun 16 - Investigation Into Harassment Of A Child In Glacis Estate – RGP Appeals For Witnesses
The Royal Gibraltar Police has confirmed that it is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding an incident yesterday afternoon whereby an 8-year-old child felt distressed after being allegedly harassed by an unknown male who may have been under the influence of alcohol.
The nature of possible previous contact between the said individual and the child is also the subject of enquiries.
The Royal Gibraltar Police has also said that it is aware of posts circulating on local social media forums regarding the alleged incident.
WITNESS APPEAL
In connection with this investigation, the RGP is now appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area of Referendum House, Glacis Estate between 1500-1515hrs yesterday, and who may have either witnessed the incident or observed a blue coloured vehicle with possible Spanish registration plates and four occupants.
