Jun 28 - Man Arrested In Fake £20 Note Investigation

An 18-year-old local man was arrested yesterday on suspicion of Uttering a Counterfeit Currency and for Possession of a Controlled Drug.

The arrest followed a report received regarding the uttering of a counterfeit £20.00 note at a local establishment.

A minor amount of cannabis resin was found on the individual’s possession on being arrested for the original matter.

The man is currently on bail pending further enquiries.
