Jun 29 - RGP Says No Links Between Gibraltar And Child Exploitation Arrests In La Linea

The Royal Gibraltar Police are aware of concerns being expressed across some local social networking sites, following Spanish press coverage in relation to four individuals arrested in La Linea recently on suspicion of child sexual exploitation offences.

A statement from the RGP read: "We can confirm that the RGP were informed of the arrests by our Spanish counterparts, with whom we have liased closely.

"However, no links between the Spanish investigation and Gibraltar have been established, neither have there been any reports received locally with regards anything related to the individual(s) who are the subject of the Spanish investigation.
