    The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).

Jul 01 - Speed Limits Changed

The following changes to local speed limits have been announced by the Government today, and will take effect from 0800hrs Saturday 2nd July 2016:

Increased: Waterport Road, Europort Road, Europort Avenue & Bishop Caruana Road - Increased from 30 KPH to 40 KPH

Reduced: Queensway (North) between Regal House and Waterport Fountain - Reduced from 50 KPH to 40 KPH
