Jul 28 - Local Man Charged With Burglary

A 41-year-old local man was arrested and charged with burglary in connection with a CID investigation into a Burglary committed at licensed premises in the area of Ocean Village on the 13th of June this year.

Francis Mercieca was arrested and charged yesterday with one count of Burglary. Four outstanding warrants of arrest issued by the Magistrates’ Court relating to the non-payment of fines were also executed.

Mercieca remained in Police custody overnight, and will be appearing before the Magistrates’ Court today.
