Sep 15 - Four Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping

Officers of the Royal Gibraltar Police have arrested four men on suspicion of kidnapping. The arrest took place yesterday evening after officers observed how a 19 year old local man was forced into a locally registered car on Line Wall Road.

Following investigations two Spanish men aged 32 and 24, both residents of San Roque, Spain were bailed out pending further inquiries.

Two local men have been charged and kept in cells pending their appearance before the Magistrates' Court tomorrow morning.

Albert Bacarisa of Harrington Buildings, aged 26, was charged with two counts of kidnapping, one count of robbery, and one count of possession of a controlled drug.

Manuel Mendez of Flat Bastion Road, aged 29, was charged with two counts of kidnapping.
