Mar 30 – Man Pleads Guilty To Using Fake £50 Notes
A 23-year-old man has pleaded guilty to using “fake” £50 notes on separate occasions in January last year.
Andrew Sales, of Tank Ramp, faces four counts of using counterfeit £50 notes on four separate occasions. He pleaded guilty to all the charges yesterday in court.
Stipendiary Magistrate Charles Pitto told Sales “passing counterfeit notes is a serious matter”.
His lawyer Leigh Debono requested a pre-sentence report and Sales is due to be sentenced on Wednesday 19th April.
Senior Crown Counsel Damian Conroy appeared for the Crown.
