Jul 31 - Two Parking Enforcement Officers Sentenced After Car Clamp Assault

courtTwo local men Kevin Finlayson, aged 41 years old and Dylan Agius, aged 33, today received suspended sentences after being found guilty on one count of GBH, following an incident in Harbour Views Estate in 2012, when they were working as parking enforcement officers for ATM European Limited in Gibraltar.

The incident involved the two men assaulting a man in the estate following a clamp being placed on his vehicle. Facing Puisne Judge Karen Prescott, Finlayson was sentenced to 9 months in prison, whilst Agius was given 7 months, however  Judge Prescott suspended the sentences for a period of 18 months, insisting that if the men behaved for this time period they would not go to prison.
