Sep 23 - Third Local Man Arrested In Connection With 30 Kilo Cannabis Haul
The local man being sought by police over the seizure of 30 kilos of Cannabis Resin on the 19th September has now been arrested.
Carl Gonzalez of Valiant House, a 23-year-old British National was arrested yesterday.
He has been charged with:
- Being in possession of a controlled drug (30kg of Cannabis Resin);
- Being in possession of a controlled drug with Intent to Supply (30kg of Cannabis Resin);
- One count of Being knowingly concerned in the Importation of a Prohibited Import (30kg of Cannabis Resin);
- One count of Obstructing Police, under Section 523 of the Crimes Act (Drugs Misuse);
- One count of Dangerous Driving.
He will be appearing at the Magistrates Court at 1000 hours this morning.
