    The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).

Dec 22 - Locals Arrested Following 70 Gram Cocaine Seizure

rgpOn the morning of Friday 19th December 2014, officers of the RGP’s Drugs Squad executed a search warrant at a local residence, which resulted in the seizure of 70 grams of Cocaine with a street value of approximately £4200. Also seized in the search were 20 grams of Cannabis resin and paraphernalia associated with the supply of controlled drugs.

A local man in his 30’s and his partner, a local woman also in her 30’s were arrested in connection with the seizure and are currently on Police Bail.
