    The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).

From the hour of 07:00 on the 27th March, to 07:00 on the 29th March 2015, the following occurred:

 

Arrests:

2 persons arrested on strength of Warrants issued by Magistrates Court.

4 persons arrested on suspicion of Assault.

1 person arrested for Affray.

1 person arrested on suspicion of Driving a motorvehicle with alcohol concentration above the prescribed limit and on a strength of warrants issued by Magistrates.

1 person arrested on suspicion of Driving a motorvehicle with alcohol concentration above the prescribed limit. 

1 person arrested for breach of bail

4 persons arrested on strength of Warrants issued by Magistrates Court

1 person arrested for Criminal Damage

1 person arrested for Assault and on strength of Warrants issued by Magistrates Court.

1 person arrested for dangerous driving, Criminal Damage and Assault on Police

1 person arrested on suspicion of Driving a motorvehicle whilst unfit to drive through drugs.

1 person arrested on suspicion of Driving a motorvehicle whilst unfit to drive through drinks or drugs, possession of a controlled drug and driving a motorvehicle without a valid policy of insurance.

Traffic Accidents:

During the period covered two traffic accidents have been reported to police.
