Apr 08 - Child Pornography Investigation - New Charges

The Royal Gibraltar Police can confirm that at 1110hrs on Monday 6th April, detainee Colin FISHER, presently on Remand at HM Prison in relation to child pornography charges, was removed from prison under powers conferred by Section 27(2)(d) of the Prison Act and conveyed to New Mole House Police Headquarters where he was additionally charged as follows;

- One count of Showing Indecent Photographs of Children


- One count of Pornographic Performances Involving Children

FISHER was then returned to HM Prison pending his Court appearance yesterday morning.

At yesterday’s Court appearance FISHER did not enter a plea to either of these new charges and the matter has been adjourned for one week in order for FISHER to obtain legal advice in relation to these new charges.

FISHER remains on Remand at HM Prison.
