Jul 03 - Two Local Youths Arrested And Charged

Two local youths were arrested and charged on suspicion of attempted burglary at the Anglo Hispano warehouse and the theft of a motorcycle in the early hours this morning. 

As a result of extensive enquiries conducted by officers of the RGP Criminal Investigation Department, at 7.30am this morning officers arrested 18 year-old Dylan Trinidad of Royal Oak House, Varyl Begg Estate, together with a local male juvenile.

Both youths were interviewed under caution at Police Headquarters and later jointly charged with one count of Attempted burglary and one count of theft of a motorcycle.

These youths had already been arrested by RGP officers earlier this same week in relation to another theft of a motorcycle.

Both motorcycles have been recovered by Police.

They have both been bailed to appear before the Magistrates' Court at 10am on Monday 6th July 2015.
