Aug 25 - Man Armed With Kitchen Knife Enters Glacis Social Club

A local man entered Glacis Social Club armed with a kitchen knife last night. At around 23:30, a man was observed entering the premises reportedly looking for someone. When he saw that the person he was seeking was not there, he left only to be arrested by the RGP who had received a call from an eyewitness.

The man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a bladed article with a blade or point in a public place and threatening behaviour. He was granted police bail earlier this morning and no charges have been presented so far.
