Oct 02 - Minister Linares Congratulates Gibraltarian Artist Christian Hook On New Sky Arts Series
The Minister for Culture, Steven Linares, has congratulates Gibraltarian artist Christian Hook, on being commissioned by Sky Arts to present a new television series in which he paints portraits of three celebrities.
Christian won the top prize in Sky Arts’ Portrait Artist of the Year 2014. As a result of the success of this programme, Sky Arts decided to follow it with this new series.
Minister Linares said: “Hook is a hugely talented artist whose career is now moving in leaps and bounds internationally. This makes all of his fellow Gibraltarians extremely proud. On behalf of the Government I would like to congratulate Christian and wish him continued success in the future.”
