Twitching, pacing, screaming…yet dead! Zombies have captured our hearts and now they want to eat them.
This Halloween come out to play with fear itself in Gibraltar’s first live-action survival game and for those who are not faint of heart, come party with the undead.
Z-Day is this coming Saturday 29th October with the adventure beginning at 18:30 for those over 16 and an afterparty (18+) at Boyd’s night club from 20:30 to 04:00. Scared to dance a dance with death? They’re not!
THE GAME
This Saturday the centre of town will host the one siege Gibraltar was not prepared for. Can you outsmart or out run death because from 18:30, beginning at Boyd’s Night Club, that’s precisely what you should be doing.
In an event like nothing you’ve ever seen before, Sunbow Projects brings to you the chance to save the world from the walking dead. As zombies seek to chew their way through Gibraltar, you will be tasked with collecting passcodes to help the resistance complete their mission of saving the world. To do this you will need to, as a team or by yourself, escape the virus-inflicted hands of zombies and collect the data needed to save the human race from self-extinction.
For fans of The Walking Dead, World War Z and all-things Zombie, the time for watching is over and it’s time to enter into their world. As Z Day will take place on the streets of little Gibraltar as your hometown becomes a terrifying new world.
With the help of the faithful resistance, you will work your way through a course of puzzles and zombies, till you reach your reward of an afterparty. Some will crawl, some will walk, and some will run; but they all want to eat. With this in mind, the game’s producers have thoughtfully brought the scariest parts of the human imagination into the real world. Using their experience of directing and managing events, these innovative minds have created a detailed plan for a night of fear, fun and laughter. The creators of Z Day have put together a Halloween night that has something for everyone; for the energetic you’ll have to escape the unrelenting shadow zombies and for those who wish to take their time to enjoy a Main Street turned upside down (and occasionally, inside out), you’ll get to battle against everyone’s favourite zombies, “the walkers”. With all this ready to go, all that is needed is you and your bravest or most foolish friends. This is not an event to be missed and will bringing forth a new horizon of entertainment in Gibraltar. So come along and be prepared to encounter your worst fears come to life.
