Sep 01 - Gibraltar Music Festival Sitemap Revealed
Ahead of the show this Saturday, organisers of the Gibraltar Music Festival have released a sitemap detailing the considerable changes that are being made to the Bayside Sports Complex in preparation for 10,000 music fans.
The new Main Entrance can be accessed from Winston Churchill Avenue, close to the Victoria Stadium's Pitch number 2. There is also a new site for the Radio Gibraltar Stage, which is being built on the tennis court.
The Food Court will be located inside the 'MUGA' area. The main drinks stalls will be in the same place as they were last year, as will other important features, including the Circus Stage, which will offer alternative entertainment as well as a place to sit down in the shade.
What was a small acoustic stage has grown into a decent-sized Seaside Stage, boasting a lawn and picnic area. Nearby, a cocktail and champagne lounge will operate, as will a Reload Wi-Fi Zone, which will be set up by Gibtelecom.
A spokesperson for the GMF noted that everything was on track to ensure this year's Gibraltar Music Festival is the biggest and best yet. A limited amount of tickets are available at Vijay, Music Corner, Gib Oil Petrol Stations, Ocean Village and Alameda Express shops, and online.
