Oct 21 - Systemic Perspectives Explored In Instituto Cervantes Talk
The Instituto Cervantes in Gibraltar yesterday evening hosted a talk entitled "Prosperity in human systems: a point of order. The systemic perspective in Spain" by the director of the Systemic Institute in Mexico, Dr. Manuel Mora.
Dr Mora explained that the systemic perspective allows doctors and business analysts access to the entire system under study, and not just a part of it.
The systemic perspective is also "useful and effective" in therapeutic contexts according to Dr Mora.
"When a person comes to therapy with a personal problem, that problem cannot be analysed in isolation. This must be done as part of a system of relationships.”
Cultural activities continue at the Instituto Cervantes this week. On Wednesday, there is a lecture "Medicinnova : Medical Innovation in Spain" by Dr. Luis Inigo - Garcia, a cardiologist at the Costa del Sol Hospital in Marbella.
