January 27^th marks International Holocaust Memorial Day across the Globe. In an effort to remember the tragedy 70 years on, and spread the message of acceptance and unity, many nations commemorate the event.

Today the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo unveiled a commemorative plaque in the Commonwealth Park and then hosted a reception introducing Holocaust survivor Martha Weiss, who will give a public talk tomorrow on her experiences in Auschwitz Birkenau.
