Nov 26 - 6.07% Of The Electorate Cast Their Vote In The First Hour
The polling stations opened their doors at 9am, and in the first hour, 1,413 of the 23,278 of the electorate have already cast their vote.
That means that a total some 6.07% of those eligible to vote have gone out and exercised that right. In the first hour in the 2011 elections, 9.63% of voters had cast their vote.
This year, polling station No12 at Central Hall in the South District has been the busiest, receiving a 8.24% of voters casting their vote in the first hour. The highest number of voters - 130 - attended Polling Station No1 at the Laguna Youth Club.
The 20 candidates will be taking to the polls today to cast their vote, together with others registered to vote.
