Aug 26 – Affordable Housing Schemes Are Moving Ahead – Government

The Government has said, in response to a press release from the GSD’s Roy Clinton, that there was a very good reason that it did not give any comments to GBC about Hassan Centenary Terraces. The reason, says Number Six, was that GBC did not ask for them having only asked questions about Bob Peliza Mews.

The Government says that negotiations for both developments are now in an “advanced state” and the Government continues to push to get the best possible deal for the taxpayer.

The Government says it can categorically confirm that both developments are moving ahead and will shortly be brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
