Oct 09 - Gibraltar Music Festival Nominated For UK Festival Awards
The Gibraltar Music Festival has been nominated for an award at this year’s UK Music Festival Awards. GMF is in the running to win “Best Overseas Festival” alongside other major European festivals including Benicassim (Spain), Electric Picnic (Ireland), NOS (Portugal), and Lollapalooza (Germany).
Through the UK Festival Awards the UK Live Music Industry recognises the hard work, vision and creativity of the festival industry.
“We are really pleased to be in the running to win Best Overseas Festival alongside some of the biggest, longest running and most prestigious festivals in the world,” commented a GMF spokesperson. “2015 was the 4th edition of the GMF which has grown massively over the last 4 years. A nomination for this award shows we are turning heads in the live music industry as well as keeping our ticket buyers happy."
The UK Festival Awards winners are decided by a panel of experts and a public vote. You can vote for the GMF to win “Best Overseas Festival” by visiting here and clicking on the “Best Overseas Festival” link.
The winners of the UK Festival Awards will be announced on the 26th November 2015 at a ceremony in London’s Round House live music venue. Public voting is open until Sunday 25th October 2015.
