Feb 11 - Cadenzza Officially Launched In Gibraltar

The latest branch of Cadenzza opened its doors in Gibraltar last month and it is set to transform the Gibraltar jewellery market with its multi brand fashion jewellery experience.

The Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and his wife Justine were invited to the launch of the shop and for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Cadenzza’s aim is to fill a gap in the market where fashion seekers can find unique pieces and express their sense of style through jewellery both for the every day and the occasion.

The shop offers premium renowned designers such as Oscar de la Renta, Versace and Vivienne Westwood alongside more emerging names made famous by the fashion-set such as Anton Heunis, Giles & Brother and Maripossa.

Mr Picardo said this is exactly the sort of standard of shop he wants to say in Main Street in Gibraltar, this is the sort of place people are attracted to, and would want to visit.

He added: “Gibraltar is the sum part of its traders, of its entrepreneurs, and the success which the Government in Gibraltar is able to publish around the world we’re enjoying on the rock is not the work of one man or one government team, but it’s the work of the entrepreneurs that make it happen.”

General Director Neil Samtani returned to Gibraltar eight months ago with his wife Deepti and twin boys to join the family business.

Speaking at the launch, he said: “Cadenzza held a strong appeal to us. We aimed to bring a unique, enjoyable shopping experience to Gibraltar, something we could be proud to have located on Main Street.

“I wanted to express our gratitude to Mr Picardo. You have created an environment that allowed our project to take place. We appreciate your ongoing support for small business and retail in Gibraltar.

“We hope that together we can continue to invest in Gibraltar, and make our Main Street a globally renowned shopping destination.”

Cadenzza will be donating a portion of sales to the Gibraltar Alzheimer’s & Dementia Society until the end of the week, and have committed to donating a sum matching all funds raised.
