Jul 01 - Call For Collaboration Outlined In KPMG Gibraltar eGaming Summit Report

“Together, we’re stronger” - while that’s a message that, in another context, didn’t go down well with voters in the UK recently, it was definitely the mood of the moment among attendees at the KPMG eGaming Summit held in Gibraltar earlier this year as they reflected on developments in the eGaming industry.

The event, which took place at the Sunborn Hotel on 21st April, brought together some 30 keynote speakers and 250 delegates, and is highlighted in a 52-page report just released by KPMG. The report covers in detail the various presentations and panel discussions held at the eSummit as well as the results of interactive polls taken during the day.

With topics as diverse as alternative payments, crowdfunding, VAT, the potential impacts of Brexit and gambler wellbeing, the report is a wealth of information and thought-provoking opinion that will be essential reading for anyone who was unable to go to the eSummit in person, as well as those are interested in reflecting further on key issues for those in the eGaming space.

The report is sponsored by Continent 8 Technologies and is available to download here.

Richard Ebbutt, Head of Marketing at Continent 8, commented: “Many interesting topics came up during this year’s eSummit but one resounding cry was for industry collaboration. Whether you are a small operator, facing a hit by regulatory changes, or an industry giant concerned about the ever-changing political and economic environment, it’s clear we can all embrace the challenges and achieve more by working together as one cohesive sector.”
