Oct 24 – Women’s Association Welcomes Care Agency’s Fostering And Adoption Campaign

The Gibraltar Women’s Association (GWA) had congratulated the Care Agency for their initiative last week to promote Fostering and Adoption locally. The GWA says it acknowledges that children do so much better when in a loving home adding that they hope it brings together many new families. 

A spokesperson also welcomed the Literary Festival: “We also congratulate the organisers of the Literary Festival and hope as many of you as possible have enjoyed what it has to offer.

TRANSPORT

The GWA also commented on transport in Gibraltar:

“We have recently had a very successful meeting with the Ministry for Transport to discuss a wide range of members’ issues. We discussed the problem with the buses and the reasons for these problems, as well as possible solutions, amongst many other issues. The minister also encouraged those with complaints against the Taxi Association to email or telephone Taxi complaints to the Transport inspectors directly. RESHUFFLE

“We welcome the Ministerial reshuffle and we are looking forward to working with all ministers in their new or changed responsibilities. We would like to take the opportunity to thank all the ministers that we have worked with. We are looking forward to continue working with each Minister in their new area of responsibility with the aim to bring change in a wide range of issues.”
