Oct 26 - GWA Delighted By DPC Approval For Monument To Women Statue

The GWA is delighted to see the erection of the statue commemorating women, designed by Ruth Massias Greenberg in 2013, and which will be placed on the  King's Wharf Roundabout was approved by DPC on 25th October.

A spokesperson for the GWA said: "We have been asking for this statue to be erected since it was designed and the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo confirmed its go ahead during our 50th anniversary celebrations last March.

"We look forward to the unveiling ceremony with great anticipation."
