Mar 31 - BCA Senior Officers Attend Incident Commander And Bronze Commander’s Course
A number of senior officers from the Borders and Coastguard Agency recently successfully completed an Incident Commander and Bronze Commander’s Course held in Gibraltar.
The jointly-held course took place at Bleak House and was led by John Khaster, of Resolution Ltd, from Monday 6th to Thursday 9th March.
Throughout the week the Agency’s officers were provided with the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding required for Interoperability between other Emergency Services. Officers were also taught on topics ranging from Contingency Planning to Defensible Decision Making, amongst other subjects.
The CEO of the Borders and Coastguard Agency, Andrew Bonfante, later commented: “It is imperative that our Senior Officers are able to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to assist Gibraltar’s other Emergency Services. The Incident Commander and Bronze Commander’s Course has proven to be very fruitful for our Agency. I thank Mr Khaster for bringing out his practice to Gibraltar for us and also to my Officers for successfully completing the jointly-held course.”
