Aug 28 - Fine Arts Association National Week Competition
Tomorrow marks the last days to enter the Gibraltar National Week Fine Arts Competition, which will be hosted for the public to view at Gustavo Bacarisas Gallery in Casemates Square from 3rd September to 12th September from 11 am - 4pm. Those looking to enter can download the entry form from the Gallery’s Facebook. Entrants who are not currently paying members of the Fine Arts Association will be required to pay a £10 entrance fee.
The theme for the competition is Gibraltar and National Day related. Works can be in any medium including drawings and photographs and should not exceed 2 metres in height and 1.50 metres in width.
The Gallery is also looking for volunteers who wish to man the exhibition during the days it will be open for. The winner of the competition will receive an inscribed trophy and a cheque for £500. Judges will also hand out Highly Commended certificates to a few entrants.
