Oct 23 - Submissions Invited for 41st Gibraltar International Art Exhibition

The 41^st Gibraltar International Art Exhibition is inviting artists aged 16 and over to submit up to two original paintings and sculptures. The event is organized by the Ministry for Culture with prices including £4,000, £2,000, £1,500, £1,00 towards a young artist aged between 16 and 24 years, and £3,000 for the best Gibraltar theme.

There will also be an addition Gibraltar Museum Gorham’s Cave Award of £500 for the ‘best History of Gibraltar Theme’ entry. Entry forms are available from the Fine Arts Gallery in casemates, John Mackintosh Hall and the Arts Centre on Prince Edward’s Road.

Entries must be submitted to the Gustavo Bacarisas Galleries as from Monday 27^th October 2014. The closing date for entries is Friday 31^st October 2014. Entries will be exhibited at the Gustavo Bacarisas Galleries from the 12th November to 21st November 2014.
