Oct 24 - Unite Works Towards Vigilant Workplace Health and Safety Measures

This week Unite the Union Health and Safety representatives met to re-elect their committee, now consisting of representatives from a wide cross section of Gibraltar.

With this week marking Health and Safety week worldwide, Unite has announced that the Union’s primary aim is to introduce Safety Representatives into the workplace. This has seen a draft Health and Safety Policy submitted to the Government, in an attempt to assist the Government in improving Health and Safety management.

The new committee is set to meet with the Government next month, to discuss the matters further.
