Feb 18 - World Trade Center Gibraltar Attends European WTC Forum
Gibraltar’s World Trade Centre team this month attended the 2015 WTC Europe meeting, hosted by WTC Instanbul. More than 25 World Trade Center’s from around the Europe were represented including Moscow, Tallinn and Bucharest.
Head of Sales and Marketing for WTC Gibraltar Pete Burgess said that the meeting provided a huge networking opportunity for Gibraltar, with all the other World Trade Centers very well connected and able to provide valuable introduction for Gibraltar. The meeting also served to provide a promotional platform for the Gibraltar team.
The trip to Istanbul was part of World Trade Center Gibraltar’s strategic development process. Speaking on the trip, Pete Burgess further noted, ‘exhibitions, conferences and trade missions all attract representatives from major companies who can then experience Gibraltar for themselves. We can invite them to appreciate the unique combination of commercial capability and lifestyle that Gibraltar has to offer, and perhaps consider relocating a division or department here.’
