Mar 04 - Business Support Unit Seminar Programme 2015
The Government says it is pleased to announce that as part of an initiative of the Ministry of Business and Employment, the Business Support Unit will launch its Seminar Programme for 2015 on the 18th March at the O’Callaghan Eliott Hotel in the Tercentenary 1 Suite at 3:00 pm.
The focus of the first seminar will be on the new Office of Fair Trading and the Fair Trading Act. There will be several presentations on the subject, followed by an open question and answer session. This session will offer the business community yet a further opportunity to express their views and ask questions on this seminal piece of business legislation.
The topic of the second seminar will be on the importance of advertising and marketing your business and this will be held on the 25th March at 3:00 pm in the Tercentenary 1 Suite at the O’Callaghan Eliott Hotel.
Commenting on the above, the Minister for Business and Employment, Neil Costa, said: ‘As part of the Government’s drive to encourage and support new and existing businesses, I am confident that these seminars will provide a great opportunity for the Government to reach out to the business community and allow them to voice their opinions and put forward their questions. I am also delighted to announce that the first seminar will be on the much anticipated Fair Trading Act, which will no doubt be a great matter of discussion and deliberation among the business community.’
The Business Support Unit will conduct seminars on a regular basis throughout the course of the year with topics relating to business, commerce and trade.
