May 06 - UK Inquest: Woman Stabbed Partner And Daughters In Boschetti’s Steps Flat

An inquest into the death of John Joseph Shannon - one of four people found killed in March in Boschetti’s Steps - has heard that his Spanish partner stabbed him and her daughters before committing suicide.

The inquest is being held in Ruthin, Denbighshire, North Wales. The Coroner for North East Wales and Central, John Gittins, said: "The wife of Mr Shannon had taken action against him and the children then took her own life."

A post-mortem examination found he died of a stab wound to the neck, according to the BBC.

However, the Royal Gibraltar Police has not yet made any official statement on how the deaths were caused and has said it is still awaiting the results of the extensive forensic investigation.
