Jul 03 - Westside Bids “So Long, Farewell” To Retiring Teachers
Westside School held an assembly to celebrate the work done by pupils throughout the year. They also bid farewell to retiring teachers Monique Williamson, Guy Noguera, Peter Vila, Douglas Morello and Headteacher, George Garcia.
Michelle Barabich, Headteacher designate, thanked all the teachers for their invaluable contribution. Emotional messages from past pupils were also read out. The morning culminated with Headteacher, George Garcia, called to take the stage together with the Westside dance group, who performed “So Long, Farewell” from the Sound of Music.
