May 03 - GSD: FIFA Announcement Is “Great News”
The announcement yesterday that FIFA has been ordered to admit the GFA immediately following a ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport has been described by the GSD as “great news.”
A statement from party leader Danny Feetham continued: “The struggle for FIFA membership has taken over two decades and has been, at times, like hitting a brick wall. It shows that brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something and Gibraltarians want FIFA membership with all our collective hearts. My congratulations and that of the GSD to the GFA and the entire legal team on a wonderful achievement."
