Frontier Queues

  • Written by YGTV Team

Gibraltar FrontierIt seems that recently, there has been an increase in frontier queues, once again. The queues are affecting both oncoming and outgoing traffic. Understandably, the underlying reason for the traffic is the rise in tobacco smuggling across the border, but it has also been noted that the Policia Nacional have been carrying out extremely thorough checks on passports and documents.

It has also been suggested that on Tuesday, when Real Madrid FC played in the European Champions League, the frontier queues had dispersed by 6pm, instead of the usual 8:30pm. Is it possible that the majority of the Policia Nacional Officers are Real Madrid fans?
