Groovy South Top

At only 28, Jonathan Collado aka Groovy South has been the driving force in revolutionising Gibraltar’s nightlife.

Since time began, or at least as far as electronic music touched ground in Gib, he has been involved in it.  Behind the decks from an early age, he has successfully established himself not only as a respected and talented DJ, but also a producer and businessman, teaming up with Jestin to form Elite Productions, responsible for setting the pace for the development of big events that can only be described as feeding the cravings of Gibraltar’s house music enthusiasts.

As such a young age he is a true veteran of the scene and always one to spread the love, he has shared his expertise to mentor DJ’s such as Jestin, Mifi, Jeremy G and V.I.P.

Making a success out of every club he has been resident in, Groovy South has proved himself a force to be reckoned with, and we have a feeling he won’t be done any time soon.

Groovy South is one of only three in Gibraltar to have DJ’d 3 times in the Costa Del Sol’s most prestigious nightclub, Dreamers. He has also shared the decks with popular DJ, Juan Magan at Estepona Club, Plato 68.
