Dj Nostrum X

The tech-volution brings us Nostrum X: a DJ/Producer whose delivery is as delicate as it is gritty. Nostrum X fuses minimalistic grooves with the rugged stomps of tech and brighter snippets of house to create sounds bound to entice any music enthusiast.

Beginning his wanderings as a DJ in the province of Cadiz, Spain, he became renowned for the variety of moods conveyed through his live sets - which continue to be impulsive creations based upon his feel and interpretation of the venue and the crowd in the moment.

Nostrum X’s passion for music was born at an early age, but his love affair with electronic music began in the late 90’s during the wave of breaks and techno as well as the emergence of the sounds that would burgeon into electro, progressive and tech house, and minimal. Living in London for several years promoted his knowledge of the increasingly present sounds of progressive and electro house, but his passion towards tech house and minimal sounds grew as he explored the emerging underground scene in Cadiz, Spain. Here, he came into contact with the mesmerising sounds that are still predominantly present in his current productions, as well as the DJ’s and producers whom he proudly plays alongside today.
