The Gibraltar Port Authority has recently recruited and trained an additional five Vessel Traffic System (VTS) operators, in order to improve and develop the Port and its infrastructure. These will complement the existing team of specialists.

The Minister for Sport after recommendation from a panel comprised of members of the Board of the Gibraltar Sports and Leisure Authority, HM Government’s Chief Secretary and the Human Resources Manager, is pleased to announce that Reagan Lima currently the Gibraltar Sports and Leisure Authority’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer has been appointed Chief Executive Officer effective from 1 September 2014.
This year has seen a record number of seven undergraduate students taking up placements with the City Fire Brigade. (With the Operations and Fire Safety Departments) under the Student Summer Placement Scheme, from 1 July to the 30 August.
