Feb 18 - Cross Frontier Group Starts Busy Schedule Of Meetings In Brussels

This morning, the Cross Frontier Group (CFG), are attending several meetings in the European Commission, to present their dossier on the issues at the frontier that are affecting workers.  The group consists of unions and associations from both Gibraltar and La Linea, including Unite, the Teachers Union NASWUT, the GFSB, UGT (Union General de Trabajadores) and various other associations.

Feb 18 - Drama Festival 2014 Line Up Announced

newsWith the 2014 Gibraltar Drama Festival set to take place between Tuesday 18th and Saturday 22nd March 2014, a list of 11 plays has been announced by the Ministry for Culture.

The first set of performances include; ‘All Gone’, a non-competitive entry by juniors of the Santos Productions Academy. The short comedy is written by Julia Donaldson. Santos Productions will also present ‘The Ant and the Grasshopper’ and ‘Friendly Differences’ a comedy drama by Kerry Muir. The Ince’s Hall Theatre will also see the production of ‘No Minister’, an original comedy by Leroi Capeldi, presented by Rock Theatre.
