Jan 12 - New Sergeant Major for Gibraltar Regiment

sergeant major Newly commissioned officer Captain Julian Valverde handed over his pacing stick to WO1 Dean Castrey who is the new Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment.

Captain Valverde, who has served 21 years in the Regiment, has been the RSM for the past 11 months. He was recently selected for a Late Entry Commission and his new post within the Regiment will be as Officer Commanding Headquarters Company.

Jan 12 - Spring Festival Logo Competition 2015

cultureGibraltar Cultural Services is once again holding a competition to select a Logo for the Gibraltar Spring Festival 2015.

The competition is open to all ages. Entrants may submit up to two original works. Entries must be submitted in an A4 size on paper or card, indicating whether the orientation is ‘portrait’ or ‘landscape’.
