Apr 10 - Gibraltar Association of Pension Fund Administrators Hosts First Training Course for Industry Locals

pensions training Today the Gibraltar Association of Pension Fund Administrators hosted an extremely well attended all-day training conference on Gibraltar’s relatively young Pensions industry, covering topics such as the recently implemented QROPs and QNUPS.

The course was hosted at the Finance Centre and was at almost full capacity with a number of Pension Fund Association members present, including Castiel Windsor, The Castle Group, the European Financial Planning Group and Sovereign Trust Gibraltar.

Apr 10 - Opposition Concerned Over On-going Public Issues

gsdThe Opposition has today noted that following the success of it’s actions in canvassing opinion and raising issues directly with the people of Gibraltar, it will continue to engage with the people of Gibraltar ‘in order to fully understand the issues that concern our community’.

They added, ‘If the Government finds this participative style of politics, listening to the people, in any way offensive it says more about the attitude of Government towards the electorate than that of the Opposition.’

Apr 10 - Special Olympics Swimmer Returns from Monaco Swimming Success

special olympics swimmer One of the members of the recent successful Special Olympics group of swimmers who took part in the Princess Charlene Swimming Meeting in Monaco was Malcolm Miel, who works at the Air Terminal.

Malcolm, who is employed by the Support Employment Company, is part of a small team who assist Gibraltar Air Terminal Ltd in the day-to-day running of the Terminal. He was awarded both a Bronze and a Silver medal.
