The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).
A Young Adults Exchange Project between Finland and Gibraltar took place recently and its purpose is to improve active citizenship, social inclusion and equal opportunities for young adults who are recovering from mental illness.
Officers of the Royal Gibraltar Police have arrested four men on suspicion of kidnapping. The arrest took place yesterday evening after officers observed how a 19 year old local man was forced into a locally registered car on Line Wall Road.

Officers investigating the unexplained death of a male, found in the Upper Rock Nature Reserve during the afternoon of the 9th of September, now believe this to be a 47 year old local man. He had last been seen in Spain on the 24th August 2016.
