After many years of uncertainty and concern on the part of Gibraltar patients who need an organ transplant, the Gibraltar Health Authority is pleased that following an understanding with the UK’s organ transplant service, NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT), this has now been resolved.
The Care Agency once again this year organised another very successful verbena at the Calpe Rowing Club for the elderly people who attend the Waterport Terraces Day Centre which opened its doors in December 2013.
Following the successful launch of the Backgammon Association of Gibraltar, the success in achieving membership of the European Backgammon Federation, and the popular National Day Competition, the first of a regular series of monthly open backgammon meetings will be held at Latinos Casemates on Wednesday 28th October starting at 7.30pm.
